In this whitepaper, we present a framework for engineering automation that helps you understand how you can create automation initiatives that generate real impact within your organization.

Display data with the new TableView

We are happy to introduce the new TableView, designed to simplify displaying tabular data in your app.

Using the TableView, you can easily create table results with built-in CSV downloads, sorting/filtering and styling options. Whether you want to show a list of calculation results or compare data across different scenarios - anything is possible!

Easily turn Excel sheets into apps

You probably have tons of Excel spreadsheets to do all kinds of analyses. Porting these spreadsheets can be a time-consuming process. That is why we have added new functionality to easily convert those spreadsheets into VIKTOR apps, even if you're not a Python expert.

Just choose the "Convert an Excel" option when creating a new app, and with a quick CLI command, you'll have the app code ready to download and customize right away. This feature speeds up development and makes it easier than ever to start building VIKTOR apps based on your existing Excel sheets.

Streamlined worker creation

Creating workers has never been easier!

No more switching between VIKTOR and external documentation. Instead, you can create a worker directly within VIKTOR with step-by-step guidance and built-in download options.

Note that only admins can create workers. If you want to create a new worker, please contact your environment admin.

Community spotlight

This month, we're shining the community spotlight on Szabolcs Polyák and his app, the 'EC3-1-8 Bolt Resistance Calculator.' Engineers can use this app to calculate shear, bearing, and tensile resistance according to the EC3-1-8 bolt standard. If this sounds useful to you, be sure to check it out!
