What's new in VIKTOR (December 2023)

Significantly improved app performance

We’ve heard your feedback and are happy to share that we’re working on several performance improvements. So far, updates include:

• Faster response to field changes in the editor;
• Faster navigation between steps;
• Faster response for button and quick view results

In the coming time, we will continue improving the overall performance of the platform even further. Stay tuned!

Adjustable environment theming

It's now possible for environment admins to adjust the theming for your company environment. You can adjust features such as the primary logo and login screen image, primary colors, favicon, browser tab title, and email notification logos.

This feature is enabled for specific subscription types only. Go to 'settings > appearances' to check it out.

Request a new workspace

If you discover a useful app in the App Store for which you don't have access to a workspace yet, you can now request one from your environment admin!

You can put in your request by opening the app and selecting 'request new'. Don't forget to include details on your collaboration needs, project, and any other relevant information.

Discover new and popular apps with views

You can now see the number of views per app to discover which tools are the most popular in your company environment. Apps are automatically sorted by 'Most used' but you can also sort by 'Newest' to discover recently added tools. Especially when sorting in combination with the right labels, this might help you find useful tools you didn't know existed!

Label yourself to help us improve your experience

We want to better guide both new and existing users in finding the right tools when entering the platform. That is why we request everyone to label themselves when entering the product. We are working on personalizing your VIKTOR experience based on these choices.
